U.S. News & World ReportU.S. News & World Report ranked DePaul University College of Law among the top 100 law schools in the country in its latest survey of America’s professional schools. DePaul’s intellectual property (IP) and health law programs also ranked among the best, and the College of Law was included among the most diverse.

Alumnus receives 2007 Presidential Medal of Freedom
HooksBenjamin L. Hooks (’48), a civil rights leader and former executive director of the NAACP, received the Presidential Medal of Freedom, the nation’s highest civilian honor, from President George W. Bush in November 2007. Hooks is the first DePaul graduate to receive the honor.

College of Law named one of the best for Hispanics
DePaul University College of Law has been ranked among the nation's most diverse for Hispanic students in a recent study conducted by the California-based Hispanic Business Magazine. The "Best Schools for Hispanics" survey ranked the top 20 law schools in the country for Hispanics based on such factors as enrollment, reputation and retention rates.
