Symplicity

Symplicity is the Career Services Manager (CSM) used at the DePaul Law School. Job postings and events are regularly updated and viewable by students and alumni. Symplicity is a secure site and password protected. If you forgot your password please click the “Forgot Password” link on the Symplicity login page. If you do not have an account set-up in Symplicity, please contact the Law Career Services office.

Calendar of Events

The calendar in Symplicity contains on- and off-campus events posted by the Law Career Services office. For a more comprehensive list of events we encourage you to look at other event calendars throughout DePaul, including DePaul University Calendar , Law School Calendar and Alumni Relations Calendar.

Job Postings

DePaul University College of Law alumni have free access to job postings and events (updated daily) through Symplicity. LCS maintains current job opportunities submitted directly to us by employers seeking candidates. Employers contact us directly to advertise available positions to our students and alumni. Symplicity contains a vast selection of part-time, full-time, summer, and volunteer job opportunities including but not limited to positions requiring a law degree.

Alumni are also welcome to visit our office and browse hard-copies of these job postings.

Resource Guides

There are a number of resources that have been created to assist you in your job search. Resource guides are available in the Document Library on Symplicity. Examples of guides that may be of benefit to you include the Alumni Resource List, the Alumni Job Search Guide and the Chicago Area Law Firm "4 or More" List. This list is not exhaustive but should serve as a starting place for job-seeking alumni.

Alumni Newsletters

For the first year following graduation, recent alumni receive e-newsletters from the Law Career Services Office on a monthly basis delivered to their email addresses listed in their Symplicity profiles. Newsletters are also sent to alumni from DePaul University and The College of Law. Please contact the respective office to sign up for such newsletters.
