History

Intellectual Property and Information Technology law has become the "hot area" for the legal profession and students are particularly interested in that field. Law schools are doing everything they can to bolster their IP programs. CIPLIT is ahead of the curve and the program while always evolving is well-developed and is well-respected.
For the past nine years, DePaul's Intellectual Property Law/Information Technology (IP/IT) Program, which is part of the Center for Intellectual Property Law & Information Technology (CIPLIT), has been ranked as one of the top IP programs in the nation, according to U.S. News & World Report.
