DePaul's Cultural Heritage Law program, which is allied with Center for Intellectual Property Law and Information Technology (CIPLITŪ), aims to offer students opportunities to explore externship and internship placements in this rapidly growing area of law. A two-course sequence of Art and the Law and a seminar in Cultural Property Law is complemented by externship opportunities for upperclass students at the Field Museum of Natural History and the Chicago History Museum. In addition, students have been placed in summer internships with the Spertus Museum, the Chicago Museum of Contemrporary Art, and the Cultural Heritage Center of the State Department.
