Chicago native Frank Catalano, 30, has earned
critical and popular acclaim as one of the leading
saxophone players of his time. In 2008, he made his
major label debut with the album "Bang!" which was
recorded with Savoy Jazz, a division of Columbia
Music Entertainment. "Bang!" debuted at No. 12 on
Billboard’s Top Jazz Albums chart, and Catalano’s
previous album, "Mighty Burner," held a place on the
charts for 20 straight weeks, establishing him as one
of the top-selling saxophonists in the United States.
Catalano, along with attorney Gregg Gansmann and
College of Law professors Ben Alba and Margit
Livingston, will give a lunchtime presentation
focusing on the attorney-artist relationship, as well
as the legal issues Catalano has faced while building
his music career.
