Evaluating a Country's Patent Potential

On September 21, 2006 we will review recent changes in the patent laws of several countries, in addition to the USA and Europe, in which the benefits of patenting internationally are realized. Knowledge of these changes will help formulate an effective patenting strategy to maximize the competitive advantage.
The day will also feature an address by the Honorable Elizabeth Laporte, Magistrate Judge, United States District Court for the Northern District California.
Location: DePaul University College of Law (1 East Jackson Boulevard, Room 8005, Chicago).
The event is open to all attorneys engaged in intellectual property law practice, including in-house corporate and intellectual property counsel.
