Aaron Burstein is the TRUST and ACCURATE Research Fellow for Samuelson Law, Technology & Public Policy Clinic at the University of California, Berkeley, School of Information. His research interests lie in the areas of intellectual property, cybersecurity law and policy, information privacy, and electronic voting. Prior to beginning his research fellowship, Burstein was a trial attorney in the U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division, where he focused on civil enforcement of the antitrust laws in the healthcare sector. He is a 2004 graduate of the University of California, Berkeley, School of Law, where he served as co-editor of the Berkeley Technology Law Journal’s Annual Review of Law & Technology. He earned his Sc.B., magna cum laude, in chemistry from Brown University and his M.S. in chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley.
