Katherine J. Strandburg

Katherine Strandburg is Professor of Law at New York University School of Law. Her research and teaching focus on patent law, cyberlaw, and information privacy law. Prior to her appointment at NYU, she was Professor of Law at DePaul University College of Law and has visited at the Fordham University (Fall 2008), New York University (2008-09) and University of Illinois (Fall 2005) law schools. She has authored a number of amicus briefs on patent issues. Professor Strandburg obtained her law degree from the University of Chicago Law School with high honors in 1995 and served as a law clerk to the Honorable Richard D. Cudahy of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit.
Prior to her legal career, Professor Strandburg was a PhD research physicist at Argonne National Laboratory.
