Data Privacy and the Internet

The Internet Law Committee of the Intellectual Property Law Association of Chicago (IPLAC), in collaboration with CIPLIT, sponsored a luncheon seminar on January 24th regarding important issues on data privacy and the Internet. DePaul University Associate Professor of Law Katherine J. Strandburg was a featured speaker at the luncheon. Strandburg, who joined the DePaul law faculty in 2002, teaches courses on patent law, cyberlaw, trademark and copyright law, and information privacy law.

14th Annual IP Scholars Conference on Aug. 7 - 8, 2014.

Professors Joshua Sarnoff and Stefania Fusco participated in the 14th Annual Intellectual Property Scholars Conference (IPSC) held at Berkeley Center for Law and Technology (BCLT) at the UC Berkeley School of Law on August 7 and 8, 2014. The IPSC brings together intellectual property scholars to present their works-in-progress and to listen and discuss others’ works. The conference is co-sponsored by the Berkeley Center for Law & Technology, UC Berkeley School of Law; the Intellectual Property and Information Law Program, Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law at Yeshiva University; the Center for Intellectual Property Law and Information Technology, DePaul University College of Law; and the Stanford Program in Law, Science & Technology, Stanford Law School.
