Keith Aoki is the Philip H. Knight Professor of Law at the University of Oregon. He is a 1990 graduate of Harvard Law School and has been teaching at Oregon since 1993. He teaches Copyrights, Trademarks & Unfair Competition Law and Property, and he is the author of numerous law review articles, including “(Intellectual) Property and Sovereignty: Notes Towards a Geography of Authorship” in the Stanford Law Review. He also is the co-author and artist of “Bound by Law?” a comic book published by the Duke Law School Center for the Study of the Public Domain about documentary filmmaking and IP Law. He also completed a book, SEED WARS: CONTROVERSIES OVER PLANT GENETIC RESOURCES AND INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY, which was published in late 2006.
