Lawrence Sung, University of Maryland
Lawrence M. Sung is a professor and the Director of the Intellectual Property Law Program at the University of Maryland School of Law. He is also a partner with Dewey & LeBoeuf, LLP, where he is a registered patent attorney with a Ph.D. in microbiology and 20 years of experience in biotechnology, medical device and pharmaceutical patent counseling, litigation and technology transfer. He is a former judicial clerk to (now Senior) Circuit Judge Raymond C. Clevenger, III, of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He also authors the books: Patent Law Handbook, Patent Infringement Remedies and Medical Device Patents.
