Seminars & Conferences

The Center organizes and presents seminars for capital defense lawyers that feature nationally recognized authorities on such topics as trial and mitigation investigation, jury decision-making and selection, lawyer stress in the capital defense arena, and forensic pathology. The Illinois Supreme Court Committee certifies many of the programs for attorneys seeking to become qualified to first-chair an Illinois capital case, and attorneys from across the country attend the programs.
