Pre-Conference Student Event

In order to familiarize students and other interested attendees with the ICC and international criminal justice more generally, IHRLI will host a pre-conference event on Thursday, April 24th.

Presenters will include experts from Amnesty International, the Institute for War and Peace Reporting, and the American NGO Coalition for the International Criminal Court. Attendees will hear about the background of the Court’s formation, its political impact in Africa, and the U.S. position on the ICC. There will be ample opportunities to ask questions.

Pizza will be served at 6 p.m. A reception will follow the event at 8:30 p.m.
