Charles P. Fox

Charles Fox graduated from Chicago-Kent College of Law, where he was a law review editor, and has been practicing in Illinois since 1986. A member of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois trial bar as well as the 7th Circuit Court of Appeals bar, he has tried cases and appeals in both state and federal court. From 1988 to 1994, he was a solo practitioner in the area of general civil litigation. From 1994 to the present, his practice has concentrated on the area of special education law, representing parents of children with special needs. He has successfully advocated for parents at due process hearings, mediations, IEP meetings and federal court appeals. As a parent of a child with special needs, he brings parental insights together with legal expertise in pursuing his clients’ rights to a free appropriate public education.
