Allen Moye joined the College of Law in January 2005. In addition to his responsibilities as senior administrator for the law library, Mr. Moye is an active member of the faculty having served on the college’s committees on diversity, law and technology, self-study and strategic planning. He is faculty advisor to the Black Law Student’s Association and a past recipient of the Deans’ Excellence in Staff Service Award.
Mr. Moye is involved in professional library associations and he has served as chair of the American Association of Law Libraries committee on diversity; the annual program planning committee; nominations committee; and is an active member of its Black Caucus.
Mr. Moye was among 32 law librarians nationwide featured in “Celebrating Diversity: A Legacy of Minority Leadership in the American Association of Law Libraries” by Carol Avery Nicholson, Ruth Johnson Hill & Vicente E. Graces, (William S. Hein & Co., 2006).
