Asylum & Immigration Law Clinic

"Reframing Reform: Immigration as the Solution" will take place on October 24, 2011 at DePaul Center, 1 E. Jackson, Chicago, Illinois and will bring together voices from across the country in order to inform on the consequences of the failure to reform the current US immigration system and to engage in dialogue to educate participants to become involved in immigration law reform on a comprehensive level. The daylong conference will cover topics including the consequences of inaction on the economy, families and communities, and analysis of US Immigration and Customs Enforcement measures and state and local government responses. Afternoon concurrent sessions will address issues of undocumented children, detention, families, asylum and political economies.
