DePaul University College of Law invites you to attend its summer law program in Dublin, Ireland. Dublin is one of the most exciting and vibrant cities in all of Europe, especially for young people. Walk in the steps of Joyce and Yeats – and then hoist a Guinness in their memory in a pub where they once toasted themselves.

Our host institution, University College Dublin (UCD), is one of the leading universities in Ireland. It has a beautiful campus just a short distance from the center of the city and all Dublin has to offer. Housing is available in modern suites located on campus for students who are interested.

Educational Program

Classes covering the following subjects will be offered:

Comparative Constitutional Law
Transnational Investment Law
Transnational Dispute Resolution

Classes will be taught by faculty from DePaul College of Law and Dayton School of Law. In addition, UCD faculty will be giving guest lectures on relevant aspects of Irish and EU law.

Credits: Participants will earn five credit hours upon successful completion of all coursework.

Tours: The program includes several tours to Irish legal, business and political institutions, including the courts and Parliament.

Students: Admission is open to students who have completed at least one year of full-time or part-time study in good standing. Due to enrollment limits, students are encouraged to apply early.
