After graduating from the College of Law in 1996, Assistant Dean Taylor practiced law in the area of insurance defense before returning to DePaul in 1997 as the assistant director of the Academic Support Program (ASP). She co-authored a book titled Bridging the Gap Between College and Law School: Strategies for Success (Carolina Academic Press 2001) for use by academic support professionals, pre-law advisors and first-year law students. Bridging the Gap is recommended reading for first-year law students at DePaul. Assistant Dean Taylor has presented at several conferences for law professors in the areas of academic support, as well as published two articles for pre-law students.
