Candidate Information

Prospective Candidates:
New candidates are chosen at the end of the first year of law school. The top 10% of the first year class is automatically invited to become a candidate for the DePaul Law Review. Additionally, at the beginning of August there is a write-on competition open to anyone that has completed at least the first-year curricular. Write-on winners are announced by the beginning of the new school year. Candidates must complete a Note or Comment of substantial length and complete all cite checking assignments given during their year in candidacy to become a member of the DePaul Law Review. Once a member, that individual has the opportunity to run for an editorial board position.
